Sir Montagu Allen, Lady Meredith, Charles-Édouard Gravel, Sir Arthur Currie… Would they have drunk Golden Square Mile? We have no idea. But they did all live in the Golden Square Mile when a beer much like this one was being brewed in Montreal.
Based on a local recipe from the 1930s, this Golden Ale offers subtle floral aromas, along with hints of citrus, pear, and peach.
A refreshing blonde ale lightly hopped with Styrian Golding, Brewer’s Gold, and East Kent Golding hops, the Golden Square Mile reflects the tasteful opulence of its namesake neighbourhood.
