Oktoberfest: Special brews on tap

We’ve been brewing up a wide variety of German-style brews for you to discover over the Oktoberfest weekend:

  • Oktoberfest Märzen – The toast of the season during our annual fall Oktoberfest music festival. The rich German malty aroma and flavour of this amber lager is balanced by the clean bitterness of peppery Tetnanger hops and a smooth and creamy taste.
  • Wanderlust Hefeweizen – Delicately hopped and hazy, with aromas of banana, clove, and citrus. In German, “hefe” refers to the yeast, which remains in suspension giving the German beer its cloudy appearance, while “weizen” denotes the use of wheat.
  • Naked Kölsch – A crisp lagered ale with subtle malt and hop aromas reminiscent of honey and pear, with light citrus notes.
  • Pilsner – Clean and refreshing with spicy aromas from lots of Saaz hops!
  • Blackberry Gose – Tradition Gose style from the Leipzig Germany region, Ale fermented wheat base with hint of salt and coriander, and a deep purple hue and subtle sweetness and flavour from blackberries
  • German Helles – Helles lager beers offer a touch of sweetness that balance a measurable addition of spicy German hop flavor and light bitterness. The malt character is soft and bready, making it a terrific complement to light dishes such as salad or fresh shellfish, like clams
  • German Altbier – Originally from the Düsseldorf area of Germany, the German-Style Altbier strikes a balance between hop and malt flavors and aromas, but can have low fruity esters and some peppery and floral hop aromas. Before Germany had lager beer, it had ales. Alt, meaning “old,” pays homage to one rebel region in Germany which did not lean into lagering. U.S. producers celebrate the ale revolution beautifully with this top-fermented German beer style
  • Dunkelwiess Rauchbiere – sweet maltiness and chocolate-like character, it can also have banana and clove (and occasionally vanilla or bubblegum) esters from weizen ale yeast. Contrasted with a hint of smoked malt, giving it the fresh out of the oven feel of banana bread.
Free No entry fee; participation in activities by donation to Le Pont Bridging food bank
