Sara Day, a Montreal native, is a self-taught artist whose unique process diverges from conventional academic trends. Infused with spirituality, her three-dimensional artworks transcend mere aesthetics, inviting viewers into a realm where humanity intersects with higher forces.

With a touch of whimsy and poetry, Sara imbues her pieces with humor, forging connections between the earthly and the divine. Working primarily with earthen elements and wood, her sculptures often blend human or animal forms seamlessly with their surroundings, offering a vision of harmonious coexistence.

Since 1981, Sara Day has showcased her sculptures in over forty collaborative exhibitions, including notable shows at the McClure Gallery and Galerie Robert Poulin in Montreal. Her solo exhibitions, including nearly 20 shows such as the one at Galerie d’art d’Outremont, have garnered acclaim. Her works grace prestigious private collections, including those of Air Canada and Cirque du Soleil.
