Mike Uzan is a Montreal-based singer/guitarist. He has played in numerous venues in the Montreal area since 1994. As a distraction from Covid-19, between May 2020 and October 2022, Mike performed 34 free outdoor public concerts, known as MikeFests. He knows no high like the feeling he gets when playing and singing popular songs from the 60s, 70s and 80s. Ultimately, there is no greater joy than seeing an appreciative audience enjoying themselves. When the music’s playing, nothing else matters. He purely takes pleasure in drifting away to a simpler time and forget about life for a while. And he certainly encourages everyone to participate and sing along! During his shows, he features a wide range of tunes – Beatles, Eagles, Stones, Elvis, America, James Taylor, Simon & Garfunkel, Springsteen, Dylan, Lightfoot, Carole King, Cat Stevens, BeeGees, Van Morrison, Blue Rodeo, CCR, Otis Redding, Jim Croce, (sorry the list is actually much, much longer, but you get the idea by now!) as well as many one-hit wonders! Mike prides himself in choosing songs that everyone knows and loves, and always maintains a fun and informal rapport with his guests.
